There are 3 key areas to Data Migration.
What areas are required will vary from church to church, so let us know what you need and we will give you an estimate quote based on your requirements.
Downloading and collating all the files from your current system(s). If you are using a desktop based system, we can do a screen sharing session to assist you with getting the data out.
Taking the time to clean up the files so that the data makes sense, is in the correct format and is ready for import.
Take your sanitized files and import them into your Elvanto account. Depending on the type of data you wish to import, extra effort may be required to ensure your account is ready.
Once we understand what areas you require assistance with, we will then provide you with an estimate quote for the service.
We say estimate because there can be a lot of unknowns depending on where and how your current data is stored. Sometimes it is not until we start that we fully understand the extent of the work required, especially when exporting and sanitizing data from legacy desktop systems. We'll do our best to quote you correctly upfront but if we believe it’s going to take longer then first anticipated, we will communicate with you as soon as we know that this will be the case.
Every customer with Elvanto has free and unlimited customer support. Our team are here to help you if you have any problems or hit any hurdles when using Elvanto. We also provide you with in-depth documentation and guides to assist you along the way.
However, for those that need a little more help in getting your files exported, sanitized< and imported prior to getting started with your new Elvanto account, then that’s where Data Migration can assist you!
We’re so excited to hear from you! You're one step closer to having effective church management.
